  • Can my battery be left uncharged when I don't use it for a long time?
    Battery Caution:If not use the vehicle for a week or more weeks, please take out the battery from the battery box, and make sure that the battery should be fully charged monthly.
  • What is the shipping method and cost?
    Continental USA Shipping: -We ship only in the USA, except to Alaska and Hawaii via Trusted shipping companies. -We try to be as reasonable as possible with shipping. If for some reason shipping to your address is not feasible, you will be contacted and given the option to pay the difference or we will refund you ASAP. -If you have any questions please contact us before ordering. -We will do our best to get your order out one day after you place it. Please note rush shipping is not available because we must ship via ground. -Your signature will be required if you are buying an electric bike or scooter.
  • Where are you located, can I purchase in-store?
    Yes, our 20+ stores are located in New York Metropolitan Area. You are more than welcome to visit onsite to try out our bikes and scooters. Please refer to the store locator for their addresses and hours.
  • Where can I ride my e-bike? Age limit? License required?
    First and foremost, make sure your bicycle with an electric motor is classified as an e-bike. The definition of an e-bike and rules on where to ride will vary state by state. For federal land the rules vary depending on the branch of government. For the most complete resource, check out PeopleforBikes.org If you want to purchase a scooter or E-moped, you must be over 16 years old to be on the road legally in NYC. If it is a large motorcycle or moped, you need a driving license or motorcycle license. If it is a large motorcycle, we recommend a height of the owner at least 5'7.
  • Are the bikes water resistant?
    The bike is not water resistant. Riding in the rain is not recommended. But hosing down the bike is not advised.
  • How long does it take to charge a dead battery?
    About 6-10 hours. Please refer to the specification tab on each product's page.
  • Does my e-bike, moped, or e-motorcycle come with a warranty?
    Yes, all FLY E-BIKE bikes and scooters come with a standard battery and motor warranty. Manufacturer Warranty(Online Order Only): FLY E-BIKE offers a 6-month limited manufacturer's warranty on e-bikes and e-scooters of all models. The warranty starts the day the product is delivered to you. This warranty only covers limited factory defects and minor cosmetic damages. We do not cover misuse or broken parts caused by the user or by any other event. Clients should pay for all shipping service costs. Any products that weren't purchased from Fly E-Bike will not be covered. FLY E-BIKE will not cover any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the e-bike owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modifications, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended for the bike. For the avoidance of doubt, Fly E-Bike will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. Battery Warranty(Online Order Only): We offer a 6-month warranty on your battery for any manufacturer defect in material or workmanship. If any battery should become faulty within the specified warranty period, we will replace the battery free of charge. Original proof of purchase is required to establish proof of purchase and warranty effective date. FLY E-BIKE requires that defective batteries be returned to us for exchange. FLY E-BIKE isn't responsible to pay for the shipping fee to return the batteries to us; however, we will pay to ship the replacement batteries back to you. The Battery is not warranted from damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear or water damage. * If you have questions about our warranty, please contact our support department by opening a ticket via chat or email. *
  • Can I have my shipping expedited?
    Yes. If you wish to receive your bicycle faster than normal ground or freight shipping you can pay for expedited shipping. Please contact our Customer Service Department to obtain a shipping quote via FLYEBIKE15@GMAIL.COM
  • Does the bicycle arrive fully assembled?
    Almost! There is very few assembly required. Typically you will only need to install the rear-view mirrors,place the batteries and link the battery case to your bike.
  • My bike arrived damaged. What do I need to do?
    We will provide you replacement parts for any parts damaged during transit. We request that you take photos of the carton to show all damage. Please also take a photo of the shipping label on the carton. Once you unbox the shipment please take additional photos of any damaged parts. Once you have taken your photos please email FLYEBIKE15@GMAIL.COM get in contact with a Technician or Customer Service Representative. Please supply all photos and a description of parts damaged and they will get your warranty claim processed.
  • What are the battery safety measures I must take?
    Always follow our manual instructions and charge the battery in correct ways. Only use the battery that is designed for the exact bike you purchased. Do not charge the battery over night while you are sleeping. Never stack multiple batteries together. Swith off the battery connections when you are not riding the bike or charging the battery onboard. Only use the charging cord that came with the bike. Do not charge your battery near any overheated indoor area. Keep batteries at room temperature (60-80F). Do not place batteries in direct sunlight or keep them in hot vehicles. Store batteries away from anything that can catch fire.
  • Can I charge my battery while installed in the bike?
    It is possible to charge while installed in the bike but we recommend always removing your battery from the bicycle to charge.
  • Can I purchase replacement parts if I need them after my warranty ends?
    Yes. We offer replacement parts for purchase. Available parts can be found AThttps://www.flyebike.com/accessories. If you do not see a part you need or your model is not listed you may contact our Customer Service for assistance. You can either chat with us on our webiste or email to FLYEBIKE15@GMAIL.COM
  • I changed my mind, can I return?"
    FLY E-BIKE Return Policy We want to ensure your complete satisfaction with your electric bike purchase from FLY E-BIKE. To facilitate a smooth return process, we have established the following return policy, subject to the conditions mentioned below: Return Period: Customers are eligible for returns within 7 days from the date of delivery. Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, the electric bike must meet the following criteria: a. The electric bike must be in new and unused condition. b. It must be free of any damages, scratches, or wear and tear. c. All original accessories, manuals, and packaging should be included. Restocking Fee: a. If the electric bike is in new and unused condition, a 6% restocking fee will be applied to all eligible returns. This fee will be deducted from the refund amount. b. If the electric bike shows any signs of use, a 10% restocking fee will be applied instead. Return Process: To initiate the return process, please follow these steps: a. Contact our customer support team within the 7-day return period to request a return authorization. b. Provide your order details and reason for the return. c. Pack the electric bike securely in its original packaging to prevent any damage during transit. Include all accessories and manuals. Shipping and Insurance: Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs and must arrange for shipment through a reliable and trackable courier service. We recommend insuring the package for the full value of the electric bike to safeguard against any loss or damage during transit. Inspection and Refund: Upon receiving the returned electric bike, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria. If the item passes the inspection, we will process the refund, minus the applicable restocking fee (6% for new and unused bikes or 10% for used bikes), to the original payment method used during the purchase. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account. Non-Eligible Returns: Electric bikes that do not meet the eligibility criteria stated above will not be accepted for return. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for arranging the return shipment back to their address, and no refund will be issued. Damaged or Defective Products: If your electric bike arrives damaged or defective, please contact our customer support team immediately within 48 hours of delivery. We will work to resolve the issue promptly and arrange for a replacement or repair. Non-Returnable Items: Certain items are non-returnable, including but not limited to: · Used, Undamaged Equipment · Apparel (clothing, hats, etc) · Battery Packs · Helmets · Special Orders · Items that display wear · Box Requirement: For the purpose of warranty and returns, you are responsible for providing a new box at your expense if you have discarded the original box in which the product was shipped. Please retain your bike box even if it has been damaged in shipping. Authorization for Returns: Items cannot be returned without authorization from our customer service team. If a return is received without an authorization code, the shipment is likely to be lost. FLY E-BIKE accepts no responsibility for items returned to us without explicit authorization. Open Box/Refurbished Bicycle Return Policy: Open Box bikes and refurbished bicycles are sold “as is” and are not eligible for return. Modifications to the Return Policy: FLY E-BIKE reserves the right to modify or amend this return policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels.   • Do I need an insurance for the scooters and mopeds?
    Before using our products, please check and follow local regulations for possible requirements for license, registration, and insurance. Your insurance policies may not provide coverage for accidents involving the use of the ebike/moped/scooter. To determine if coverage is provided you should contact your insurance company or agent.
  • Can I purchase a new E-bike without a battery?
    Yes, you can! Please contact to the customer service and tell them you want to get a new e-bike without a battery.
